Lead Pastor

Biography Pastor Mitchell Neal Griffin is a dedicated servant of God with a passion for studying the Word and teaching it effectively. A native of Gary, Indiana, and a graduate of Lew Wallace High School, Pastor Griffin felt the call to ministry early in his walk with Christ.

Education & Ministry History Pastor Griffin holds both an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree in Leadership and Ministry (Pastoral Studies) from Crossroads Bible College. He has been a licensed preacher of the Gospel for over 23 years. He accepted his call into the ministry in March 2002, preaching his first sermon shortly after. He was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in 2007. His extensive experience includes serving as an associate minister at St. John under the late Pastor Frederick Alexander Sleet, serving as a certified instructor for the Northern Indiana Missionary Baptist District Association, and leading as the Pastor of Heaven 2 Earth Baptist Church since 2017.

Philosophy of Ministry Pastor Griffin believes that ministry must be proactive, interactive, and Biblically based. He views ministry as a team effort, striving to equip and encourage members for leadership according to their spiritual gifts. His desire is to create a safe, secure atmosphere where believers can connect with God personally and grow deeper in their faith.

Family He has been happily married to his wife, Lady Tina Griffin, since 1992. They are the proud parents of Quinton Griffin and the late Justin Griffin.

Lady Tina L. Griffin

First Lady

Biography Lady Tina Lynette Griffin has been walking with the Lord since receiving Christ as her personal Savior at the age of eight. Born in Gary, Indiana, and a graduate of Horace Mann High School, she is a devoted wife, mother, and ministry leader.

Education & Career Lady Griffin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the Indiana Institute of Technology. professionally, she has served Fort Wayne Community Schools for over 28 years.

Ministry Experience Lady Griffin has a rich history of service, having been a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the Mass Choir, Missionary Society, and as Youth Director. She has also held leadership roles in the Northern Indiana Missionary Baptist District Association, including Women’s Ministry Secretary, Vice President, and Youth Director. She has served faithfully as a Minister’s wife for 24 years and a Pastor’s wife for 9 years.

Vision Her vision for ministry is to live a lifestyle that reflects being a child of God. She desires to lead the lost to Christ, letting them know that He loves them and wants a relationship with them. Her favorite scripture is Romans 5:8.
